Soft & hard landscape design
Client: St. Hilda’s College, Oxford
With: Gort Scott architects
Hard & soft landscape surroundings for two new college buildings, following a winning competition entry with Gort Scott architects. The design takes reference from the riparian green lung of the Cherwell, celebrating the big trees, riverside ecology and the college’s historic connections with the Botanic Gardens over the water.
The planning process involved consultation with Historic England and the Environment Agency, informing an extensive LVIA.
