Landscape regeneration strategy for former mining area and renovation of factory buildings in brown coal region near Leipzig, Germany: a landscape for metamorphosis and future possibilities. In the history field, traces of former buildings form pathways through meadows and viewing mounds gaze out towards the lake in the former open cast pit. In the horticulture field, carpets of orchards anticipate future housing.
